Wireless?
We're having trouble finding wireless here in order to upload the latest flickr photos, but suffice it to say that we're still finding screaming deals, and wondering how to come back for an extended period of time. Last night we walked to a Pakistani place and ate some of the best Tandoori chicken of all time for just a few ringitts. Coupled with some garlic naan and roti boom (doughy fried bread) and a litre of water, we were set. Casey's food tunnel, as Wu Chun calls it, seems to need more gastro-fuel every four hours. Tomorrow we take a local ferry to Kuala Perlis, right up against the Thai border, and then a train on down to Butterworth. We're angling to get into Thailand, especially in the conflicted border region, but that might have to wait for another trip. We decided to focus on the beauty that is Malaysia! Highlight of the past 24 hours was body surfing after sunset, though Casey would say it was the nasi campur (rice buffet). Every time we want to curse the dastardly heat, we remind ourselves how darn lucky we are to be here.

Less than three square meals a day and surly, grumpy Casey will return...
Glad you're enjoying it and getting past the weather. Hmmm. Fresh Roti.....
