Casey: Karen was smart enough to mimic the locals and use her umbrella for sun protection. Took me a few days of near heat-stroke staggering about before I tried it. Amazing the difference a thin layer of fabric makes in keeping you cool (since sweat is pretty useless here if there's no breeze). Karen's going to see if she can bring the sun umbrella into vogue in Fort Collins. Incidentally, this picture was at a lovely lake park in Kuala Lumpur. This city has a great mix of lush green hills interspersed with high-rise buildings. Today, we stumble about till our 1 am flight home. Feeling the onset of my customary travel-cold so we might just splurge on one of the many excellent $20 hotel rooms in the area. I think we're both ready for the familiar comforts of home, cooking our own meals, and petting Kiwi's soft ears.
