Overnight train to Penang

The best night of sleep we've had - rhythmic swaying of the train and cool aircon helped. The heat and humidity here is not as bad as we thought but still pretty bad. Colorado has spoiled us rotten. On the plus side, there are more unknown fruits to eat - rambutan is my current favorite, very other-worldey.

Never been in one of those over-night staying trains before. It is very interesting to see the installation of safety belt for the bunk bed. Thanks for taking us along the trip.

The train sleeper from Syndey to Alice Sprirngs had a very scary pull down toilet that we were afraid to 'use'. Otherwise a great way to travel, all be it slow.

Humidity - we are considering a move to Austin but the weather here in SoCal has spoiled us as well.
