So strange to see so many signs for "whitening" products here in Malaysia that you'd think you were in Latin America, where many countries share a similar obsession. Funnier still is the right of lobster-red tourists trying for a souvenir tan. Speaking of skin, it's actually comforting to land in a place where skin is not so "in" and people are more modest about showing their wares.
We head out tonight on the train, back to KL for the last few days of our trip. Will try to post some more photos soon.
