Casey: yes, for only $9 you can let the fishies gnaw on all that yucky dead foot skin. Don't worry, they won't touch the good skin, promise. This place was in the Chinatown section of Georgetown in Penang. All manner of counterfeit goods here, quite good imitations (the same factories that make the originals?). Saw a place here (www.stayOrange.com) with a $3/night room - Internet only rate. Maybe on the way back... Travel seems to consist of keeping your belly full, your bladder empty and your mind well rested to deal with the onslaught of new sights, tastes, smells and sounds. I'm just grateful Karen hasn't abandoned me for being cranky jet-lagged and heat-stroked.

The Orange hotel looked very orange. It could be an interesting experiment to see how long one can last in the room without getting dazzled by the bright orange color. Maybe it is a way to force travelers to close eyes and then perhaps fall asleep. Just remember that you may need to adjust camera white-balance setting to shoot there.
did you not do the fish foot thing? I sooooo want to do the fish foot thing. They charge a fortune for this at a posh spa in Singapore, so you've really gotta jump at it for mere ringgits while you've got the chance! I'm seriously considering this for my new home business here in FC.
WuChun: I think the orange paint is supposed to make you forget that the room doesn't have any windows. You gotta give up something for $3/night...
