Random Photos
I'm at my dear friend Bryant's place, and will be back in Colorado soon. Finally got access to a real keyboard and can't tell you how liberating it feels to put the graham cracker keyboard aside for a bit. I've included some photos from the HP camera now that there's time to upload images. Some of my favorite moments: puppy dog at the potato farm cooperative;friends at the Inca fortress-temple-archaeologists don't really know-maybe it was a Walmart-called Sacsayhuaman (pronounced much like "sexy woman"), school bus at Pachacamac; Machu Picchu in the mist;potato farmer with shelves of papas. We're off to the National Funeral Museum in Houston this afternoon. Was between that and a glance at the great hominid "Lucy", who is currently on exhibit at the Science Museum, but the choice seemed obvious. See y'all soon.
Really enjoyed the pictures. It is very much worthwhile to click on the image to get the better resolution for the details. I got to see the content and joyous face of the bus driver (also the bus sign on top was patched up with tape), all the labels of those potato and her colorful dress, ant-like people crowded on Machu Picchu, and the cute expression on the face of the doggie.
The bus looks like the Bumble Bus here in Raleigh, where they throw a bunch of kids on a bus with some toys as the bus driver rides around town slowly going insane.
