Chan Chan
Shot of a Peruvian hairless dog at the site of Chan Chan. These dogs are nothing but muscle and bone; this particular one spent a lot of time swimming in the reed-filled water reservoir, barking at the water with one of his other canine friends. Once the site of pre-Inca artisans, Chan Chan still spans several kilometers.The Peruvian government built a road right through the site, and the nearby town has encroached upon the edges of this great Chimu city.
