One Quart, Resealable, Plastic Bag:
Temporarily tethered to the suburbs, two adventure junkies
travel the world in pursuit of the planet's nicest people.
Sorry for the self-indulgent blog post, but the experience was so peaceful I had to post. It reminded me of the day before we moved from New Zealand and paraglided with Timo's friend, a great way to mark the end of a longjourney (and might I add, a fraction of the price that it would cost in the U.S.). Hmm, I wonder if my per diem from the grant would cover the costs...

Awesome. Flying geo-professor. Very nice to see some action picture on the blog.
Equally entertaining as the flight is the suspicious look on your face when you find out they're both named "Martin".
Fabulous! What an experience. You sure have courage - it must have been out of this world.
You certainly have no fear!
