We're Back, Readers.

Been getting all sorts of email requests to keep the blog alive, at least until our story "ends", to quote the words of a good friend. So give me some time to come up with some more yarns of life in the suburbs. We'll be back.

This blog is officially going into hibernate mode. A sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those loyal readers who've followed our journeys over the past few years.

Oh, Karen! Can't say that I blame you, it has been a lot of work for you. But I will miss it dearly. It has been pure delight to follow you in your travels, chuckling or choking up at your unique insights and observations. Yes, take a rest, but do come back when you're ready, we'll be looking for you.

Karen - focus, buckle down and write! Selfish me ;)

So much entertainment in so few words. A true gift to us all.

So sorry about the agency going south. Can't imagine your disappointment.

It has been 8 days and finally this morning I decided to dig out the dictionary to look up the "definition" of dormant hoping to find any limit on the period for "suspension of activity." Though, to my disappointment, no specific time was given, it also reads: "temporarily in abeyance yet capable of being activated or resumed." So glad to see the blog come to life again. Especially love the lines used to cross out the last few sentences.
