North Carolina Thanksgiving

The Barton-Hoodak-Miller-Radovich-Schaeffer posse converged upon North Carolina last weekend for our second annual Thanksgiving weekend extravaganza. The weather was crisp, the fridge was full, and the hugs were copious.(If anyone knows Rob and Andjie, you know what I mean about the hugs).

We spent Thursday in a food torpor after a scrumptious afternoon meal courtesy of Chefs Andjie and Phyllis. Friday we packed into the Radovich van and drove three hours to the Outer Banks to view the migratory birds at Pea Island. We returned home Saturday night, dropped Sioux off at the airport, and spent the next 2 days playing foos on Rondjie’s smokin’ foosball table. We strong-armed Rondjie into booking some tickets to Colorado for 2006, where we’ll celebrate the big 3-5 for Andjelia, the beautiful, talented documentarian, also known as Ms. Foos-Lee.
