This blog is fast becoming a home improvement site, but the way we see it, it's better we pump our money into our house before someone else steals it from us (see previous posts). Hakatai sells a variety of elegant products, and tiles in their new Ashland e-series are crafted from recycled glass. This weekend, we plan to paint and bake plum cakes now that the stove is back in place. (Yes, the m and ms in the photo are for scale).

My previous experience has been either a pocket knife or a rock hammer for scale. But M&Ms are uniform, not so with rock hammers.
