Soul Food at the Bayou House

Who knew there was a Cajun restaurant on the northern Colorado prairie? Here are some pictures from our late night excursion to Lucerne's Bayou House. No surprises, but the alligator didn't even compare to the gator you can get outside Baton Rouge.

Jambalaya.

Blackened chicken on a bun. Carb-lovers take back the night.

The "special".

Blackened catfish with fried okra and collard greens.

Where's Paul?

Canine Scientist Kiwi back at home in the "lab" (that pun was especially for you, Momma M), checking for E.coli in a bag of Earthbound Farm.
