In Just 2 Weeks, After Traveling 6966 miles, 5 Tasks Await

1. Buy a Subaru's worth of fresh vegetables, blend them to the sound of Klezmer.

2. Pet K's soft ears, as soon as Kaaren M. is done doing so (photo: courtesy Amol P.)

3. Make a glorious, hot mess in the kitchen.

4. Prepare to tell Fall students about the amazing, chaotic world that is China.

5. Scold K for being on the couch. Repeat petting of ears.

Oh, how I wish I could accept gray hair with as much style and grace as K does.

Thinking of home already? No suprise. It has been a long time. Just in case you might still have some left over time/ eneegy, check to see if there is a way to visit Huang Shan, ( literally "Yellow Mountain"). That was one of the two places I picked upon my first available chance to visit China. Take care and will be glad to know you get back to CO.

WCC! We don't really want to go home. There is way too much to see here and the people of China have been so welcoming. We had planned to go to Huang Shan, but fear we've run out of time. Am thinking that China would be a good destination for a sabbatical.

PS - A woman spontaneously gave me my Chinese name today: "Meiling"! It was an honor to be in such good company.
