Rocky Mountain Bliss!
Alas, the ingredients for happiness were discovered this past weekend at a secret location in the Gunnison National Forest, overlooking a verdant valley that just takes ..your... breath... away (at 10.000 feet we need all the hemoglobin we can get). Pay close attention to the bliss quotient in the photos below:(1) The open-ended fire ring created by the Happy Engineer:
(2) Self-indulgent, self-portrait of the Happy Couple
(3) Happy Dog cultivating a new relationship with H2O (look closely at her eyeball)
Please check back for more posts related to our achingly beautiful odyssey thru the Rockies.

What kind of black labrador (looks like a black lab anyway) would be afraid of the H20? That is very, very weird.
You can actually see Kiwi
in the background of the photograph with the tent and the car. Funny. You two need kids. - Phil.
Hummm, ANTIDOTE for happiness? I'm confused.
Ooops! I blame my misuse of vocab on the elevation! How does "ingredients" sound, Anon?
Love the picture of the campfire. It sure brings back memories of years gone by. It reminds me of my dads love of the outdoors and his camping adventures.
