Yard Sale Deals of the Century

Casey and I are back to everyday life. No travel plans for awhile, so if you want to read exciting tales of life in a foreign country, check out Jim and Venitha's Singapore Adventure. For us, the focus over the next few weeks will be on purging our house of all extraneous items. The purge will culminate in next week's yard sale on our FoCo cul-de-sac. This, of course, is a far more daunting task than it may seem, for Casey is a yard sale afficionado, and whenever we stage a sale, Casey shops at the neighborhood yard sales, cancelling all my efforts to purge.

Andjie suggested I include some images of items we've managed to collect from previous yard sales. From the images, you'll understand why it's been so difficult to turn down a deal. I blame Casey for this. He converted me into his collecting cult when we were newly betrothed, and since then, we both stop at all garage sales or face the fear that we missed the deal of the century. Homies. Hispanic-American collectibles. Incomplete set. Available full-price in most grocery store vending machines, but we'll cut you a deal. Quarter included for scale.
